2019 Ekka - Quilts Across Queensland: Volunteer Quilt Attendants

The Quilts Across Queensland Committee is currently seeking expressions of interest for volunteers to provide support to the Quilts exhibit area during this year’s Royal Queensland Show (Ekka), Friday 9 - Sunday 18 August.

Volunteers are required to attend one of the shift options below. We encourage you and your friends to consider volunteering together on the same shift.

1st shift:

9.00am to 11.00am and 1.00pm to 3.00pm (2 hour break in between)

2nd shift:

11.00am to 1.00pm and 3.00 to 5.00 pm (2 hour break in between)

Quilts Across Queensland exhibits are located in studios 2 and 3 of The Old Museum, known during Ekka as the Flower and Garden Precinct. In this space you'll find traditional horticultural displays and potted plants, flower and garden workshops for visitors of all ages, stage performances and live animals.

The Flower and Garden Precinct is open daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
